Makes it more likely that friends of your teens will appear as other students at active high school, and reduces the frequency of the early graduation phone call.

Tweaks for High School Years

Small changes that aren’t technically bug fixes, but rather improvements for High School Years expansion pack, that hopefully enhance the gameplay experience.

At the moment, there’s only two tweaks:

Go to school with my friends

A small tweak to the filter that summons NPC students to the active high school. Increases the chances that it will select teens that your sim knows and has high relationships with.

If you’re sending multiple teens to school at the same time, it may default to looking for friends of the sim currently selected at the time the popup appears to send teens to school.

Less phone calls about early graduation

If your teen sim is an A grade student, then they may get daily or even more frequent phone calls from random sims offering the chance for early graduation. It’s way too frequent and annoying.

This tweak adds a cooldown to the phone call, so it should happen a lot less often. It also changes the caller to be the school principal, rather than randomly selected sims, because it makes way more sense.

Notes

• This mod is for people who have High School Years expansion pack for The Sims 4 on PC/Mac.
• The mod rewrites the tuning file for the active high school teen student filter and the drama node for the early graduation phone call. If you have any other mods that change the same tuning files, they may clash with this mod.

Downloading and installing the mod

Download the mod package file and place it in your Mods folder for The Sims 4, found in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods.
